The tour continues to Assisi, built by the white Subasio’s stone and home town of the most loved saint in Italy: San Francesco. Stop for a lunch at a top restaurant (already included in the tour). In the afternoon a guided visit will follow and you will be able to know more about the Basilica of Saint Francis, which was partly destroyed during the earthquake of September 1997, but now completely brought back to its former beauty. You will also visit the Basilica of Santa Chiara and enjoy an enchanting view over the Umbrian countryside from the small square in front of the church. Return to Florence in the late evening.

- HALF DAY TOUR IN ROME: You will be picked up directly at your hotel and start the tour from the Piazza dell’Esquilino, one of the seven historical hills of Rome. Continue the tour on the Via Tiburtina and visit the Baths of Tivoli, where the ancient Romans used to relax and visit the Hadrian’s villa, the most beautiful imperial Villa designed and built by Emperor Hadrian at the beginning of the 2nd century AD. Visit also the wonderful Villa D’Este and its multitude of sublime fountains and superbly arranged Italian flowers gardens.
- Full day excursion to Pompei, Naples and Sorrento with bus and guide: visit the historical centre of Naples as Castel dell’Ovo, Piazza Plebiscito and the Palazzo reale. - FULL DAY LUXURY BUS TOUR TO THE AMALFI COAST with PROFESSIONAL GUIDE: This is a very FULL day tour. Pick up at your hotel is at about 7:00 am and after crossing the city, you will take the famous Autostrada del Sole, one of the major Italian Highways connecting the Centre with the South. The region of Ciociaria will be passed with a view of the Abbey of Montecassino. Upon arrival in Naples, embark and departure for the island of Capri. Upon arrival at Marina Grande, weather and sea conditions permitting, you will visit the wonderful Blue Grotto; return to Marina Grande and depart by minibus for a panoramic tour of the island ending in Anacapri, a characteristic village situated at the foot of Mt. Solaro.
