Protestant Wedding in Florence
We did make it back and everything went well. Ben and I were both very pleased with how everything went and and your services and yes, you may use me as a reference.
The church was great as was the pastor/rector. Ironically, Peter Casparian was from Kentucky which is next to Illinois! The church provided 4 bottles of champagne and glasses - which I didn't expect. They also gave us a prayer book with the wedding service that everyone signed. The church also had flower arrangements from the wedding the previous day which stayed up for our wedding.
The bus drivers were also very kind and helpful (they recommended a good vista at the piazza Michelangelo for pictures.) Some of our best pictures were from the piazza.
The restaurant was very scenic and everyone was very impressed. The service was good, the meal (except for the vegetarians) was exactally the menu you gave me. Also, they said there would only be champagne for the toast however, they had 4-5 bottles of champagn upon arrival and then 4-5 bottles later for the toasts. Omero also provided flower arrangements for the tables which was a nice (extra) touch. We were at the reception from 6 p.m. when they opened until 6 p.m. until 12 p.m. when they closed and they called cabs as people left from 10 p.m to midnight. One of the servers did beg Ben for a tip which was fine because the service was excellent.
It is hard to give my impressions of Italy because I have travelled there before and already have a deep-rooted love for the country but if anything, this just reinforced that adoration.
Overall, everything was excellent - the flowers, the food, the transportation and the reception. One of the guests commented that 'if my marriage was half as good as the wedding, I would be the happiest person he knows.'

Wedding in Florence
Thank again for making our trip and wedding so wonderful and seamless. It could have been difficult at several points in the trip but thanks to your attention and expertise all things were negotiated gracefully.
The wedding was beyond our expectations and beyond description. Despite our own difficulty to and in Rome the trip was fabulous as well. I believe you have an excellent group of people who helped us during the trip. Especially the personal attention provided by Paolo on the day of the wedding. He made Maggie feel so re-assured about the event and provided for her comfort and necessities. The photographer was also wonderful and helped make the photos a fun experience with his enthusiasm and inspiration.
The Carriage ride, the Mercedes, the violin player, and lunch at la Osteria were perfect and made the day even more beautiful. We felt like royalty, and that the whole city of Florence were our guests.
Please feel free to use us as a reference for others who may be interested in your services.
Sincerely,
David G. Hollifield M. D.

Wedding in Florence and Reception at a Villa
We could not have hoped for a more perfect day as the day of our wedding. Our wedding took place on March 11, 2001 at the Villa in Florence, Italy. Everything went flawlessly and every detail was covered. This perfect day was mostly due to the incredible professionalism and attention of the wonderful Euroevents and Travel Company, our wedding coordinators Sonia and Julian, and the wonderful staff of the Villa.
Planning a wedding overseas can be a stressful experience, but Euroevents and Travel made it seem simple and painless. From the first day they continually impressed us with their attention and detailed answers to all our questions. They always got back to us promptly with answers to our questions, examples of various services and unique suggestions of all possibilities. They had suggestions to fit every budget. All of our needs were met and the places they recommended were all top rate. Every professional they recommended we use were impeccably professional, from the hairdresser and makeup artists, to the photographer and videographer.
They also helped with every step of the legal process, to make sure all things were in place for the big day. The legal process can be intimidating, but someone from their staff was with us the moment we arrived in Italy to walk us through everything.
When the big day arrived, we were a bit nervous that everything would go smoothly, as we hadn't seen the flowers or the cake and some other things in person. However we found that we had no reason to be nervous-everything was beautiful. The flowers were among the freshest and most beautiful we had ever seen, and the cake was exactly as we had requested. The hairdressers and makeup artists they sent that day were so wonderful and attentive, and really worked with us and listened to what we wanted. The photographs are among the best we have ever seen-and many of our friends have commented that they have never seen their equal. The video was thorough and complete-no major event was missed, they captured it all and put together a wonderful video preserving our memories. Everyone providing a service arrived promptly and everything was done exactly on schedule. No detail was missed.
The place we held the wedding, the Villa was one of the most breathtaking places we have ever seen. It was as if we were a prince and princess in a palace on that day, and the staff treated us as if we were royalty. The food was some of the most delicious we have ever tasted, and our guests were delighted by the décor and the unbeatable cuisine.
We will remember this beautiful day for the rest of our lives and are so thankful we did something truly unique for our day. Marrying in Italy, which we feel is the most beautiful place on earth, will always be our most treasured memory. Euroevents and Travel was with us every step of the way and made this all possible. We cannot recommend them highly enough-they will make your special day perfect! Please feel free to contact us directly for more information.
