Custom Tour to Italy
Our trip to Italy was wonderful! Thank you so much for all of your help and arrangements. Everything went pretty smoothly and we certainly enjoyed our stay. We hope to come back and spend time in southern Italy and visit the Cinque Terre in the near future. All of the places we visited made us yearn for more of the Italian countryside and its beauty.
Our itinerary was well planned and organized. Each location offered its own specialty and variety. We loved Venice especially but Florence was a close second.
The people we found were all very friendly (no anti-American sentiment). The tour guides were superb. Each was friendly, very knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend time with. Each gave us great recommendations for dinners and places to see. They went out of their way to make our vacations special. We would recommend a tour in each city and the night in Rome was a highlight of our trip! The fish dinner in Murano was remarkable because chef sent us more seafood to eat then we have ever eaten, we were royally treated at The Gato Nero!! Our favorite guide was Andrea in Rome because although we saw a lot of things in very hot weather it was always interesting.
The accommodations were GREAT. The Brunellschi staff was excellent! They even brought us breakfast at 5:30 AM on the day of our departure! We were enchanted by the Torre Bellosguardo and well treated at the Dei Dogi. We agreed that we enjoyed staying out of the main tourist flow in the larger cities like Venice and Florence. It was worth the extra taxi and vaporetto rides to have a quiet place to come home to.
The transfer to and from the airport was welcome and wonderful. The trains were fast efficient and well run.
It was certainly the trip of a lifetime and we would certainly recommend your services in the future. Thank you once again.

Trip to Italy
I am sorry it took me so long to write. I have been very busy since returning to the USA.
Everything was fabulous. Please feel free to use us as a reference. It was a great trip. The hotels were great, the tour guides were great and the restaurant recommendations were great. There is no question that I would use your services again (this was my second time already!).
As I said above, please feel free to use us as a reference. I have already recommended your services to several friends. Thanks much!

Aniversary trip to Italy
Thanks for following up. Our trip was fantastic. It was just what we needed. The trip began very hectic with 2.5 days in Rome running around trying to see all the sights and ended with a very relaxing time in Tuscany and Venice.
The tours were absolutely great -- it was nice to have locals to talk about the history and detail we wouldn't have found otherwise. The only comment I would add is that you should notify clients that they will be responsible for any fees for museums/churches that are visited during the tours -- that wasn't clear to us.
The hotels were all very good. We especially liked Hotel Giorgione in Venice.
Transportation was easy and comfortable. We really enjoyed travelling by train and even our driving experience was okay!
Thank you, again, for your responsiveness and assistance in organizing our trip. I would be happy to be a reference for future clients. In fact, I have a friend who will be getting married next spring and planning a honeymoon in Italy. I will certainly point her in your direction.
Again, thank you for an unforgettable trip! Please let me know if you have any questions for me.

Honeymoon to Italy
Sorry we haven't responded to your previous email. Yes, we did get it but we have been so busy telling everyone about the honeymoon. We really enjoyed it a lot. Everything went so smooth.
Overall I think the trip was a major success. We were EXTREMELY satisfied with ALL the tours: group tours, private tours and our own walking around tours. And, of course, the food and wine were unbelievable.
Everywhere we went, we were fed well. And of course we learned how to say honeymoon VERY quickly because we HAD to tell everyone: Luna de Miele!! And they would respond: Ah, agoura agoura!! Our only regret is we spent only one full day in Venice. It was 2 nights but still too short a time. I had the most delicate delicious Lasagna Bolonese in Venice (It tasted like silk, if there is such a thing). The dinner at that Michelin 3 star restaraunt in Florence was an absolute once in a lifetime experience. As I am writing this I can't believe its over. We had some friends over the other night and we opened a bottle of Chianti we brought back. It reminded me of our lunch at the Villa with the winery tour in the Chianti region.
Our friends LOVED the wine. I dont know what else to say to you except: GRAZIE GRAZIE GRAZIE!!!!
Sincerely,
Ken and Lisa Coles

Honeymoon to Italy
Hi!
We're back! Sorry it has taken so long for us to get in touch with you. We have had a very busy last week because we are moving to Boston in the fall and we had to go up to Boston right after we came back from the honeymoon to try to find an apartment for next year.
But I just wanted to tell you that we absolutely loved our trip! I'll write a longer e-mail with details on each part sometime over the weekend, but I just wanted to thank you for all that you did to set up our trip for us. Everything worked very smoothly and we had no trouble getting around on the trains, just as you said, and we really feel like we saw a lot of Italy and had a wonderful time! So thanks again, and we would definitely be references for your services in the future.
I'll write again soon.
Thanks again!

The Reader Family Trip to Italy
Thank you very much!!!
The trip was wonderful. Every city was different and interesting, and having the cities interspersed with the two "vacation spots" worked out very well. This gave us a chance to "rest up" between cities, although we really were on the go in Rapallo and Positano. The food everywhere was terrific, although we did not get to eat in too many of the restaurants you recommended.
The train connections were good and the trains were almost always on time and efficient. All museum reservations went very smoothly.
Specific comments about each city and some suggestions to help you in planning other trips for customers:
Rome: Hotel Dei Consoli -- the staff was very hospitable -- very nice service.
Guide: Mr. Mauro Girella - Excellent. He is very knowledgeable, and has a great personality. We had a great day with him.
Positano:Buca di Bacco Hotel- Excellent- Large rooms with beautiful view of the Mediterranean, very warm and accommodating staff. Great location. Very nice beach.
Guide and trip to Pompeii: -- Excellent. He came with a driver and began the tour in the car, as we drove to Pompeii.
We went to Ravello which was beautiful and a terrific day -- great suggestion to eat at Cumpa Cosima. The food was very good and the "family" made you feel like you were old friends. We found a wonderful shop to buy cameos -- Camo. Mr. Camo carves the cameos himself. Also has coral sculptures he carved and other jewelry to sell.
Florence: Restaurant Cibreo -- terrific experience. Especially for an adventurous eater who will try Tuscan dishes such as tripe and calve's hoof. Even for those of us who are more timid, every dish was wonderfully prepared. Great, attentive service.
Rapallo: Excelsior Palace Hotel -- very nice and luxurious. Cinque Terra was very nice but not as beautiful as the Amalfi coast area. We did take a local train there and then the ferry to Monterosso. Then walked back one town. Not much time to do anything else that day.
Venice: Hotel Saturnia & International -- very good. Nice room. Staff very helpful and accommodating.
Guide: Night tour and Jewish Ghetto. She was excellent. Very knowledgeable about everything and she included much more than just the Jewish Ghetto on our morning tour.
Dinner at Cipriani: Though not at all what we expected, it was wonderful. It was unique having the whole restaurant to ourselves. The food was great, and having our own private wait staff is something we will likely never experience again. Torcello was certainly isolated, and felt quite deserted to us. We felt like we were the only people left on the island when it came time to take the ferry back to Venice.
Again, it was a wonderful trip and gave us many lifetime memories. Italy is a wonderful country and I am sure we will be returning in the future to see more of it.

Best Honeymoon in Italy
Hello, hello, hello . . . Angie and I are back from Italy and we had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us. From calming our nerves to the absolute best tour guides (we loved Silvia during our Chianti tour) we could have possibly asked for...we just can't thank you enough. I will take the time to answer your questions in the next few days.
In the meantime, a very nice young lady that I know would like some information on setting up a trip to Italy like mine. It seems as if her and her friend are looking for the same type trip that Angie and I took and I couldn't say enough about the job that you and your company did. Therefore, I told her that I would give her your name and e-mail and hopefully you both can work together. She is also copied on this e-mail so hopefully she will get in touch with you, or I'm sure she would be very happy to hear from you.
Once again, you guys are the best and we can't thank you enough for doing such a wonderful job helping us with our honeymoon. Your company is both professional and personable but most importantly, I felt like you guys really cared about us having an enjoyable time on our honeymoon and you just weren't out to make a buck.
You'll hear back from me in a few days.
Kindest regards,
Mike Parise
