JO-ANN WALKER &
TERENCE JONES
Protestant Blessing in Lakes District and Honeymoon in Italy
We would like to give our sincere thanks for making our wedding and honeymoon such and exceptional experience.
The Villa Malpensa was very beautiful and convenient to the airport. The rooms, were very nice and we had a very enjoyable dinner there the night before we flew home.
Both of the tours were magnificent. Marilena in Florence did a wonderful job at the Uffizi gallery. She hit the high points and didn't give us too much information. She also gave us some things to consider for the rest of the day. We had a lovely walking tour of the medieval area with the narrow streets and small shops and restaurants.
Rolando and Helena were a very pleasant couple. We enjoyed their company immensely. The boat ride to Portofino and San Fruttuosa was great and we enjoyed a cappucino with them and lunch on the boat of focaccia bread and wine. It was "fabuloso!"
The dinner at the Beatrice in Florence was very nice. The waiter was very helpful and made several suggestions for our dinner.
Villa Crespi was outstanding and its elegance exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and the service was superb. The housekeeping staff even went out of their way to cover Jo Ann's wedding dress with a sheet to protect it. It was hanging on the back of a door in the room and we came back from sightseeing to find it covered up. How nice of them to do that! The meals were incredible! The breakfasts were sumptuous. What marvelous pastries!
We also enjoyed our photographer Giuseppe and the wedding coordinator Philippa. They were a lot of fun and we had a great time taking pictures. We knew from the start that Giuseppe was very professional and we can't wait to see the rest of the pictures.
Thank you for connecting us with Father Gordon Reid. He was very personable and is a warm, caring man. He was perfect for the ceremony and accommodated us by reading something that Jo Ann's parents had written for our wedding. We were very touched. He knew how special that day was for us and I think he was as impressed as we were with the setting of Sacro Monte which, by the way, was incredible! The presence of Father Reid, the playing of the classical guitarist, the setting of Sacro Monte, and the presence of God in the ceremony made the day exceed our expectations in a way that is hard to describe.
Overall, our trip was very memorable. We walked the footpath between Monterosso and Vernazza on the Cinque Terre. The views were spectacular! The water below us was such a deep, rich blue...it was breathtaking. Thank you and your staff at Euroevents for making this a trip and experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!
Sincerely,
Terry and Jo Ann Jones
ROBERT and CAROLE CARR
Civil Wedding in Lake District
Just a quick note to let you know that the wedding was a magical, romantic perfect day.....
Orta was the most magical beautiful place in the world.....we couldn't have asked for anything more romantic.
The ceremony went well and the villa Bossi was a lovely building and Rob and I both thought that the harpist created a fabulous atmosphere to the proceedings. The photographer seemed very artistic and we are both very much looking forward to seeing the photographs
The boat ride was lovely and the boats were waiting for us as planned. A perfect end to the afternoon.
Philliapa was a great help and really helped to calm my nerves and with the translations with the photographer and the ceremony.
All in all Rob and I and all our guests had an experience that we will never forget. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to friends and family and I thank you for creating a truly romantic wedding day in the most stunning of settings!

Hello Amanda!
You have picked the perfect spot for your wedding. I had about 50 people from the United States fly over to Italy and everyone loved it. All of the guests stayed at the Hotel which is a fantastic hotel right on the water. The food is wonderful and you really cannot beat the location.
Also the Villa up the hill a little ways is incredible. The food is absolutely awesome for lack of a better word: We had our rehearsal dinner at the Villa Crespi and the wedding reception at the Hotel San Rocco. It worked out really well because after the wedding reception everyone just stumbled up to their rooms!
The other hotels in the area are also nice. The Villa and the Hotel are the most expensive (4 star) in the area, but the others are also good accommodations and cheaper (3 star). We flew over the year before we were married to check everything out.
As far as the rest of the town, I have never had a bad meal anywhere and I made sure that I ate at most places at least once. There is a fantastic wine bar just off of the main square area....I think everyone spent a good four days at the bar!
Everyone flew into Malpensa and then either rented cars or had the hotel shuttle pick them up for a fee. Most people preferred the shuttle service as you do not need a car in town at all.
My husband and I also flew in to town about three days before the wedding just to make sure everything was o.k. - which it was. You will really have the wedding of a lifetime.
