Catholic Wedding in Rome
Leo and I want to thank you and Euroevents for such a bellisimo wedding! It was a dream come true to get married in Roma. The ceremony and the reception were wonderful and it will be always be a beautiful memory.
Leo and I and my parents met with Daniella and Father Claudio the day before and it was a pleasure to meet them. They were friendly and it was nice that the priest took the time to explain the ceremony. It was good to to relax a little and get to know him as well as him getting to know us. He did a great job performing the Catholic ceremony and gave us some good advice too.
The music was clear and sounded great…and it was nice listen to while we walked out of the church as well.
The flowers were gorgeous...such a pretty salmon colour of roses along with white ones. It was even better than the photo I had provided!
Paolo and Leo the videographer and photographer were great! Leo and I loved them..they were friendly and made us laugh...They did more than what we expected and they were very professional. They suggested Castle San Angelo which was a beautiful place for photos after the wedding. They also shot at the place we wanted - the Coliseum.
My family and husband loved Sabatini's. It was the best food we had in Rome and I would definitely recommend it to others. The fettuccini was increadible and the wedding cake melted in your mouth! It was a romantic and cozy reception as we sat outside in the garden setting, enjoying the food. Since we ate early, we had the ristorante to ourselves for a while so that was an added plus!
Leo and I loved Italy and especially the old part of Rome where the wedding was. People were friendly and they said 'Tanti Auguri' to us as we walked in the streets.
Thank you also Sonia for setting up the rental car and the hotels. The Pitti Palace in Florence was the perfect location in downtown Florence. It was easy to walk to sites and stores and the staff was very helpful too.
We really loved Venice! The Hotel Giorgione was comfortable, cool (since it was so hot!) and had a friendly staff. It was not too far to grab a waterbus to San Marco's Square so that was nice! Claudio and Paolo were very helpful with giving us directions or suggestions on things to see and places to eat at. They even called someone in the phone book to see if they were related to my mother's side of the family.
I told all my friends and family about our trip and how we really enjoyed the wedding and honeymoon. Thank you Sonia for your hard work and for answering so many questions!
Hopefully we can go back to Italy soon and use Euroevents again...maybe Sicilia next time!
