Destination Weddings in Garda

Garda, a town with a sheltered bay and a long pebbled beach, is located less than an hour from the historical city of Verona. This popular resort, after which the famous lake gets its name, is remarkably visitor friendly and offers fantastic water activities such as parasailing and water skiing, in addition to beautiful beaches. The bay of Garda is surrounded by the lake and filled with lush, Mediterranean foliage. The northern portion of the bay is interrupted by Mount Luppia as it encroaches into the lake to form the illustrious San Vigilio point.

Every Friday morning the market is held at this promenade, and visitors can watch the fishing boats come in, as they supply the local eateries with fresh seafood. The town comes alive at night with music and a festive atmosphere.
