Unique characteristics of the Bardolino Wedding Hall
Located in the town main square, the Wedding Hall of Bardolino is small, but very characteristic, with a nearby parish church. The piazza is open all the way to the town harbor.
Remains of the Castello Scaligero add interest to the town, and one of the bastions, in red brick and stone, situated on the lakeshore and very close to the Wedding Hall, still is well preserved.
Bardolino lends its name to a world famous red wine. In September, just before the first Sunday of October, a grape harvest and Bardolino Classico Festival take place in this town, to celebrate the ruby red local wine. Another Festival for Bardolino Chiaretto, a rose’ wine, with its sparkling variation, Bardolino Spumante, takes place in May, and in November comes the celebration of Bardolino Novello.
The most important International Triathlon in Italy takes place here in June, with a swimming, cycling and running race.
Bardolino is a very unique, off the beaten path, Italian destination wedding location!
