Unique characteristics of this Romantic Umbrian Castle
Historical residence set on the green Umbrian hills where natural beauty abounds and time stands still!
This charming neo-Gothic style castle boasts two main towers and a connecting wall that were built in the fourteen century. In the late seventeen hundreds the structure of the castle itself, as we see it now, was rebuilt, incorporating the remaining towers and wall. An Austrian gentleman from Tirol saved the castle from ruin and brought it back to life.
A few meters away from the castle, a beautiful villa provides extra space and accommodations.
The apartments in a farmhouse setting with a swimming pool are fun and relaxing.
Guided tours on a minibus can be arranged in the afternoon for visits to local attractions like a ceramic factory in Deruta, the Baci Perugina factory, where the famous chocolates are made, or to places where truffles can be found, to name just a few. Umbria is well known for its truffles!
Perugia, the medieval capital city of Umbria, is full of old palaces, works of art and stylish boutiques to be discovered!
