Unique Characteristics of the Wedding Hall in Lucca

Lucca was founded by the Etruscans and then became a Roman colony in 180 BC.

Now the architectural features of this Tuscan city enclosed by brick walls built in the 15 hundreds, extending for over four kilometers around the town, are typical of the Italian Renaissance.

One of the main reasons for choosing Lucca as an Italian destination wedding location is the luxurious Wedding Hall.

Built in the 16th century over the foundations of a medieval structure, the main door is framed by an impressive stone arch. An imposing staircase, with period paintings adorning the walls, leads to the first floor, where the salons used for wedding ceremonies are located.

Frescoed ceilings, antique gilded period furniture from the 18th and 19th century and expensive silk brocade fabrics create a unique ambiance of luxury and refinement.

More pictures can be taken in the Italian garden of a nearby villa, adorned with statues, a water fountain and big terracotta pots. The garden is not open to the public; only the wedding couple and their guests are allowed inside for a photo session among the blooms!
