Special Features
The castle is built on a hill with panoramic views and surrounded by tranquil forests and olive groves. The imposing tower and walls date from the 10th century, while the main body of the castle and rooms with courtyard and garden were built in the 13th century. In the 1700's additional embellishments were added, including a private chapel.
Three studio apartments are available for rental and accessible by elevator. Each studio apartment has either one king bed or two twins with a single headboard. The top two floors each have a modern bathroom with hand-held showers. The first floor bathroom has a shower stall. Very large living space with a sofa, a most interesting kitchen (no ovens) in an antique box, which is hidden when not in use, and dining tables, nice additional furniture and plenty of atmosphere.
Central heating. Every floor has a private entry accessed by keyed security from the elevator. No telephones or washing machines.
