Unique Characteristics of this Romantic Lake Como Church
This ancient three aisles basilica on Lake Como has been updated and restored many times and the interior is very pleasant.
The works of art found in this church include a polyptych painted by Giovanni Pietro de Brentanis in the fourteen hundreds and a Baroque style confessional engraved by Giovanni Albiolo in the sixteen hundreds.
Theodolinda, queen of the Lombards, is remembered in a fresco on one of the interior columns.
